THE MEN OF THE UVU RODEO TEAM

Kade Pitchford

Kade is a senior majoring in construction management. He competes in calf roping and team roping, and has competed at the CNFR twice. Currently, Kade is working on an internship at Geneva Rock. For fun he likes to fish, but in all seriousness, his greatest goal for this year is to be at the nation’s number one goat trainer. Kade would like to thank his coaches, family, and friends for supporting him.

Weston Hogan

Weston is a senior majoring in behavioral science with a sociology emphasis. He competes in bareback riding. He enjoys riding horses, hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. His life motto is, “All it takes is all you got.” He would like to thank his parents for pushing him and supporting him. He also wants to thank his coach Shane Draper, as well as UVU for giving him this opportunity

Rodney Nez

Rodney is a sophomore studying diesel technology. He competes in bull riding. His favorite saying is, “Carpe diem.” He loves fishing and rock climbing. Rodney wants to thank Shane and the team for giving him this opportunity.

Brayden Rinderknecht

Brayden is a freshman studying engineering design technology. He competes in calf roping and team roping. He enjoys golfing and is fantastic at leatherwork! His favorite quote is, “All wars are won or lost before they are ever fought.” We are excited to have Brayden in our program!

Wyatt Peterson

Wyatt is a Freshman, studying Construction Management and competes in the Bareback Riding. One of his favorite quotes is, “No matter how you feel. Get up, Look up, Show up and Never give up.” Wyatt is a multiple time RMPRA finals qualifier and in 2017 was the reserve champion in the Bareback Riding. He enjoys being in the arena, practicing on his own practice horses, and being with his family. He’s very grateful for his wife and daughter and his family for all the love and support that he receives from them.

Coleden Rinderknecht

Coleden is a freshman from Howell, Utah. He is a business management major, and he competes in calf roping and team roping. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and loving every day. He loves rodeo and hanging out with friends too. His favorite quote is, “If you ain’t first, you’re last.”

Christian Burleson

Christian is a freshman studying biology as a pre-vet student. He competes in saddle bronc riding. He has been married to his wife, Emily, for three years. When Christian isn’t riding horses or at school, he’s probably fly fishing. His favorite quote is, “Nobody got anywhere in the world by simply being content.”
