Meet the ladies of the UVU Rodeo Team!

EmmaLee Dubois
Emmalee Dubois is a sophomore majoring in business management. She competes in goat tying, breakaway, and barrel racing, and she is a recreational heeler. In fact, some call her Double Hock Dubois. She is the 2017-18 RMR Champion Goat Tyer & won the first round at the CNFR last year! She loves drawing, playing the piano, and strumming the guitar while humming tunes. She has also recently become an avid weightlifter.

Courtney Provost
Courtney is a senior this year. She’s studying Psychology and competes in breakaway, team roping, and occasionally goat tying. Her favorite quote is, “Stay humble, work hard, and make it happen!” Courtney qualified for the CNFR last year, and placed second in the first round in breakaway! She is thankful for all the opportunities and support our fantastic coaches and team have given her, and we are all super excited to see what her senior year has in store for her!

 Jacie Steed
Jacie is a freshman studying dental hygiene. She competes in breakaway, team roping and goat tying. She loves rodeo - it’s her favorite thing to do. Her favorite quote is, “She’s a dreamer, a doer, a thinker, she sees possibility everywhere she goes.” Jacie competed at the NHSFR this year.

Jill Nunn
Jill Nunn is a sophomore this year. She is currently majoring in Exercise Science, and competes in breakaway, team roping, and goat tying, and selective barrel racing. Jill loves coaching at Winning Edge Rodeo Schools, playing basketball, photography, and is always down for a good time. Her favorite quote is, “If today, you are a little better than you were yesterday, that’s enough.” She competed at the CNFR last year. Jill wants to thank her coaches, family, and friends for pushing her and having her back.

 Katie Hood
Katie Hood is graduating this semester, hallelujah! She will be graduating with her Associates in science degree, and we will miss her. Katie will then continue on by pursuing her wildest dream to become a dental hygienist. Gotta make the big bucks so she can support her expensive hobbies. Katie enjoys hunting, being outdoors and going on long walks through the fields. Katie competes in barrel racing, goat tying and Team roping. She looks forward to a great year and just remember, it’s all good in the Hood!

Kaycie Ahlstrom
Kaycie Ahlstrom is a sophomore studying Special Education. She competes in goat tying, breakaway, team roping, and barrel racing. Her favorite quote is, “Stay strong, because you never know who you are inspiring.” Kaycie is a multiple time NHSFR qualifier. She is an aspiring rapper, a natural with children, an instructor at Winning Edge Rodeo Schools, and she loves ropes (like she’s an actual expert).

Sadie Fitzgerald
Sadie is a junior this year, and she is studying business management. She competes in barrel racing, team roping, breakaway, and goat tying. Her favorite quote is, “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.” She is an awesome photographer, she loves coaching younger girls in rodeo with Winning Edge Rodeo Schools, and enjoys helping out on her family ranch. She wants to thank her friends and family that have helped her get to this point! We can’t wait to cheer Sadie on this year.
